Subindo para Jerusalém, onde morreria por nós, Jesus encontrou a mãe dos filhos de Zebedeu que lhe fez um pedido: manda que os meus filhos se sentem, no teu reino, um à tua esquerda e outro à tua direita. Jesus disse: não sabeis o que estais pedindo.
Como viver esse Evangelho no dia de hoje?
Ao invés de pedirmos a Deus poder e sonhar com o poder, mudemos a chave da nossa vida: para Jesus, a pessoa feliz é aquela que ama, que serve o próximo! A Maria Inêz Pacheco de Paranavaí (PR) me escreveu: Tenho amado me esforçando para escutar em especial aqueles que têm necessidade de falar, falar, falar. Que bonito isso! E hoje, dia das mulheres, a nossa gratidão a cada uma delas.
